Biography
Kome Oruade is a Partner at Assizes Lawfirm. She is a lawyer with keen interest in research and writing. She was a research assistant to a former Commissioner of Tax Appeal Tribunal in Nigeria. As a research assistant, she gave legal opinions on tax disputes involving multinational companies and the federal and state revenue authorities.
Kome has experience in litigation. Before joining Assizes, she worked as a state counsel at the Nasarawa State Ministry of Justice.
She has taken up training in dispute resolution and legal writing. She has also taken courses at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
